I found a gas pump that gives free gas. Would you take the free gas or not if you were me? This woman at the gas station told me of a gas pump that keeps giving you gas even if it is over what you paid for.She said it has been like that for a long time. I haven't tested if this is true or not but I did notice that she only paid 10 or 15 dollars and she stayed pumping as long as I did filling up. I am paying around $75 to fill up my gas tank right now but at the same time I would feel guilty getting something that I didn't pay for. What would you do? I really doubt I would get caught but I do have a conscious. I have a little angel and the devil on my shoulders fighting right now =) car insurance.

Volkswagen . How to Replace a Tire Valve

Due to many conditions, including weather, damage or just age, the valves on your tires can wear out and become cracked or brittle, causing the valves to not operate properly when you are putting air in the tire. If this happens, it is not difficult to replace the tire valve yourself. It can be done in about an hour.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Small sledge hammer
Tire tool
Pliers
Tie-down strap
Battery-operated air compressor
Tire gauge

Step by Step :
1
Remove the tire from the rim by separating the seal where the edge of the tire meets the wheel. Use a small sledge hammer and tire changing tool, wedging the tire tool underneath the tire valve side of the rim and running it around the rim until the tire is loose.
2
Locate the tire valve on the inside of the rim by pushing the tire down and finding where the tire valve is inserted in the wheel on the inside of the rim.
3
Pull the tire valve out of the rim from the inside using pliers to remove the valve stem.
4
Place a bead of dish soap on the inside edge of the new tire valve where the valve will connect with the rim and insert the valve back into the rim from the inside.
5
Push the tire valve back into place using pliers to pull it through carefully until you hear the grommet of the valve snap into the rim. Check to verify the valve is securely attached to the rim.
6
Tie a tie-down strap around the diameter of the tire and tighten so the edge of the tire is pushed out toward rim, allowing it to hold air as it is being filled.
7
Attach the hose of a battery-operated air compressor to the new tire valve and begin inflating the tire. You may need to tighten the strap or adjust it to get the tire to begin filling up.
8
Remove the strap when the tire is beginning to fill up and then use a tire gauge to check the pressure. Continue filing the tire until it is set at the proper tire pressure.
Tips & Warnings
Find the proper tire pressure printed on the inside of the driver's door panel of your vehicle for the exact specifications needed for your car.

Volkswagen . How to Install Valve Stems on Tires

If one of your car's tires begins to lose pressure for no apparent reason, the problem may not be in the tire itself; it may be a leaking valve stem. The valve stem is a synthetic rubber or plastic tube that pokes out through your car's wheel rim, where you connect the air hose to your tire when you're adding air. On most modern tires, it's a snap-in unit that incorporates the valve.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Crowbar
Valve stem
Lubricant
Rubber mallet

Step by Step :
1
Remove the wheel from the car, then remove the tire from the wheel by laying the tire and wheel flat on the ground and "breaking the bead"--the seal between the tire and the wheel--with the flat end of a crowbar. After the seal is broken, use the crowbar to pry the tire up over the edge of the wheel rim to remove the tire from the wheel.
2
Remove the old valve stem by pulling it out from the inside of the tire with pliers. "You may have to cut the valve stem to break it loose, but don't cut the tire," a spokesman for the NAPA Auto Care center in Cookeville, TN, said.
3
Lubricate the new valve stem so that it slides easily through the valve stem hole in the tire. No glue is necessary, according to Ron Morris, owner of R & K Auto, a NAPA Auto Service center in Cookeville, TN. "The valve seals itself in place; you just need to get it through the hole," Morris said. "Liquid dish soap or spray lubricant works."
4
Put the tire back on the wheel rim using a the crowbar as a lever. A rubber mallet may be useful--beating the wall of the tire will help ensure a good bond between the wheel rim and the tire. Inflate the tire according to the manufacturer's directions. The correct tire pressure can be found in your car's owner's manual, on the face of the tire or on a placard on the driver's door post.
Tips & Warnings
A thin film of liquid soap as a lubricant on the "bead" of the tire will help in the process of returning the tire to the wheel rim.

Do not over-inflate or under-inflate your tires; improper inflation causes uneven tire wear. Some vehicles have tire pressure monitors. The sensors for the system may be associated with the valve stems on the tires. If your vehicle has a tire pressure monitoring system, professional replacement of the valve stem is recommended.

Most vehicles built prior to 1974 use a non-electronic distributor ignition system, as shown in Figure 5-8. Most vehicles built from the mid-1970s to late 1980s use an electronic distributor ignition system like the one in Figure 5-9. Today, most vehicles use a distributorless electronic ignition system such as that shown in Figure 5-10. To make it easier for you to identify the sections in this chapter that deal with the type of system on your vehicle, I've placed the following symbols next to them: <2) = old-style, non-electronic ignition system * (D = electronic ignition system @ = distributorless ignition system 270 Car Insurance 1998 nissan sentra 308398

ignition system. All three types of ignition systems use the following components. The ignition coil The ignition coil (see Figure 5-11) transforms the relatively small amount of electrical voltage (12 to 14 volts) that it receives from the battery into a big enough jolt of voltage (15,000 to 60,000 volts) to jump the spark plug gap. On most cars, a set of spark plug wires (sometimes called ignition cables) carries the high voltage to each spark plug. A distributorless system has an electronic coil module that does the same thing (refer to Figure 5-10). The spark pluqs The spark plugs (see Figure 5-12) deliver the spark of voltage to the combustion chamber just when the fuel/air mixture is at the point of greatest compression. The resulting explosion provides the power to propel your vehicle. Chapter 12 tells you how to "read" your spark plugs for clues as to how your car is running and provides instructions for removing, gapping, and replacing spark plugs. .
